Western Lowland Gorillas eat fruit, seeds, leaves, stem, pith and animal prey.  They are terrestrial and their locomotion consists of quadrupedal knuckle walking, climbing, limited bipedal walking and suspensory locomotion.  They live in harems of one male and multiple females.  In large groups their may be two silverback, the dominant, males.  Both males and females migrate.  These apes are diurnal and make new nests each night.  Make gorillas will engage in chest beating, hooting and throwing vegetation while displaying
